Dr. Ishan completed his medical training at JSS University in India and, after clearing the USMLE exams, pursued his Internal Medicine residency at Georgetown University / MedStar Health in Baltimore. He is currently a fellow in Cardiovascular Disease with a specific clinical focus on interventional approaches to pulmonary embolism and deep vein thrombosis. Alongside his clinical training, he serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Michigan State University — bringing both academic and frontline clinical perspectives to everything he builds at USMLE Kickoff.
